SkyLab Joins The Industrial Internet Consortium

Skylab today announced that it has joined the Industrial Internet Consortium® (IIC), the global, member-supported organization that promotes the accelerated growth of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Membership provides Skylab opportunities to engage and contribute to innovation, best practices and evolution initiatives the industrial internet is achieving.

The Industrial Internet Consortium is a global, member-supported, organization that promotes the accelerated growth of the Industrial Internet of Things by coordinating ecosystem initiatives to securely connect, control and integrate assets and systems of assets with people, processes and data using common architectures, interoperability and open standards to deliver transformational business and societal outcomes across industries and public infrastructure.

At Skylab, we focus on connecting people, businesses, smart devices and the Internet of Things (IoT), and gathering data and harnessing cloud and edge computing to drive down unplanned maintenance of services, to improve cost saving and efficiencies in the Enterprises and the Cities, and to achieve integrated operations control and situational awareness across multiple domains and critical infrastructure sectors, such as Energy, Water, Logistics, Transportation, Industrial, Public Safety, Healthcare, etc. The interconnectedness will improve the productivity and competitiveness of the Enterprises and the Cities globally.
